Manhole location is yet another unique service offered by
MME. MME utilizes highly sophisticated locating equipment,
comprised of physical video location techniques, Ground
Penetrating Radar (GPR), and Metal/Density-Variation
Detectors
With this array of technology, we are able to quickly and accurately derive the position and depth of manholes in nearly any situation.
Once the manhole is located, MME can offer
to raise the manhole to the desired elevation by our manhole
rehabilitation team.
Manhole assessment is much more technically demanding than Manhole Location as each individual manhole must be intimately inspected and all relevant aspects of each manhole digitally recorded and accompanied by written observations.
The intent of this detailed inspection is similar to TV inspection of sewer pipes in that defects are identified and earmarked for future repair.
Without this aspect of the sewer system inspection, the owner of the system is at higher risk of surcharges, I & I, etc.
