Twenty-three years ago two materials engineers got together and started a small testing and engineering firm call Consulting Metallurgical Services (CMS). In 1998 CMS was absorbed into the materials engineering division of QORE Property Sciences that later became Metals & Materials Engineers (MME). MME has evolved into a multi-disciplined engineering and consulting firm providing professional services for municipal and corporate clients primarily in southeastern United States and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

MME established its principal office located in Gwinnett County, Georgia in 2001. MME also has office locations in Atlanta, Georgia; Birmingham, Alabama; and U.S. Virgin Islands. MME is a SBA 8(a) certified minority owned and operated Limited Liability Company.

MME gradually evolved and expanded its capabilities and services into several other disciplines of engineering and consulting services as well as maintaining its strong foundation of metallurgical and materials engineering.
